Food Pyramid

The food pyramid is a chart to show the five groups of foods. This chart tells us how much of each group of food we should eat. The base or the bottom of the pyramid contains bread, cereals, rice, noodles, potatoes, etc. We should eat plenty of these foods. There are some fresh fruits and vegetables in the next group. We must eat them regularly. As we go up the pyramid, we can find dairy products such as milk, cheese, etc. There are also meat, fish, beans, nuts, and eggs. We should eat this food item moderately. They are very important for our health but we do not need too many of them.  And at the top, we have fats, oils, sweets, etc. We should eat very little of this food.
